IT Authority is delighted to announce that Robert Pearman finished as one of the ten winners of Cisco's Academy Skills Pursuit Competition.
The competition is run every year and is open to any of Cisco's worldwide academy students.
Competing for one of ten prizes Robert finished 7th out of 3500+ entrants.
Entry is not compulsory, and we think Robert has shown fantastic commitment to his studies by entering and finishing so highly.
Over 4 rounds, entrants must read and evaluate a case study on a fictitious company. Drawing on their knowledge of networking concepts and of course, their Cisco expertise, they must answer questions on the case study and then complete a network configuration simulation. After two rounds the top 1000 competitors are put forward to the final two rounds.
"I never expected to get through to the third round" Explains Robert, "I entered for a bit of fun, to see how much I had picked up over the course of my CCNA training- , so when I found out I had got through to the final, and then to come 7th was fantastic".
Congratulations Robert, from all at IT Authority.
